Our AVImark Project Process
We visit your Vet Clinic to assess your existing network hardware and other network infrastructure to ensure it is suitable for AVImark. There’s nothing worse than installing AVImark only to find it runs too slowly on your existing equipment.
If your existing network hardware is sufficient to run AVImark, we do not need to upgrade your network equipment. If your existing network hardware is insufficient to run AVImark, we will propose upgraded network hardware by including it in our quote.
After our onsite assessment, a 1CS project manager will send you quote for the implemenation of AVImark to your office environment. This will include labour to complete the installation of AVImark and any necessary hardware including the labour to install the upgraded hardware.
Once our quote is approved and your account is open, 1CS’s project manager will schedule one or more dates and times with you to carry out the installation. Network upgrades get completed before the installation of AVImark, should not take more than a day.
Then on another day shortly thereafter we come back to your office to install AVImark and get it operational. Should not take more than a day. Of course, if you don’t need any upgrades to your network, then we skip the network upgrade step and move directly to installation.
Generally speaking, the process from contacting us to being fully operational with AVImark can take 2 to 3 weeks. If you don’t require network upgrades the process wil be faster. AVImark runs best from a server but can also be run from a workstation acting as a server.
