Our Managers follow the 6 steps of Project Management using Waterfall Methodology
Identify Need
IT Projects start with an idea to accomplish a certain objective. The idea is then put into the form of a proposal while giving consideration to feasibility. For complex projects, it may be necessary to conduct a feasibility study.
Define Success
Once the proposal is agreed to, project managers fine tune the objectives and pinpoint the desired outcome(s). This includes a summary of scope, project plan and budget.
Design Solution
The project manager determine the optimal solution for achieving their goal during the design phase. Creating a design and/or simulation is part of this process. A blueprint for the development team is prepared and communicated once approved.
Develop Solution
The development period is when tasks are assigned tasks, tools are chosen, technicalities reviewed and any necessary hardware or software is requisitioned. The objective of this step is to ensure the plan is clear and well understood to avoid issues with implementation.
Implement & Deploy
The implementation phase is when the project gets executed. The project manager oversees and supervises the IT services, equipment, costs, and quality, while the project team sets out to perform their specific duties.
Follow-up
As soon as the project plan has been executed and implementation deemed complete, we ensure all end-users know how and where to access support, train the end-users, discuss and resolve any remaining matters and end the project.
